You will only receive a Dragon Ball if you get the Key Item notification after defeating one of the Time Patrol Agents. If you defeat all three Time Patrol Agents and do not see the notification that you will get a Key Item, pause the game and select the Retry option to start the quest over. If you see the text that indicates you earned a Key Item, this is the confirmation that you’ll get a Dragon Ball if you defeat the remaining Time Patrol Agents and complete the rest of the quest. You need to defeat all three Time Patrol Agents, but after defeating each one, pay close attention to the bottom of the screen.
